XOONS lens hood for the Summarit 50mm f1.5. The later code is 12520. Beautifully made from brass with black crinkle paint, it has a substantial feel rarely seen in modern industrial products.

It can be used not only with the Summarit, but also with the Leitz Xenon 50mm.

Although it looks rather hefty for a 50mm lens hood, it appears surprisingly neat even when mounted on a compact Barnack Leica, giving a real sense of Leica’s excellent design.

There is slight paint loss on the front edge, with the brass base faintly showing through. There are also some minor rubbing marks and slight sheen on the paint on the inner bottom surface of the hood, but it remains in very clean condition. No dents or distortion are visible.
