Leitz vertical rangefinder FOKOS in chrome finish. This is the later version produced after 1949, and among those, it appears to be the final type with the hexagonal Leitz logo oriented upward. The product code is FOKOS, later changed to 14011. Distance scale is in meters.

It is a vertical type rangefinder like the early FODIS, with the accessory shoe of the horizontal type HFOOK removed. It features a refined design and beautiful precision craftsmanship. The total length is just under 8 cm. Perfect match for Leica Ic, If, and similar models!

There are faint scuff marks visible from certain angles, scattered in various areas. However, there are no noticeable scratches or dents, and the chrome finish maintains a beautiful appearance.
Overhauled in June 2025. The dial operates very smoothly.
The optics show slight aging-related wear, but it does not affect visibility. The view is clear, the rangefinder image is sharp, and the focusing accuracy is excellent.
