Filters are used by inserting Series VII filters into the 12504 hood.
At maximum aperture, the lens delivers a soft, dreamy rendering, but as you stop down, the softness fades and sharpness increases dramatically. It's a versatile lens capable of a wide range of expression.
The lens alone weighs approximately 224 grams—compact and lightweight for an ultra-fast f/1.4 lens, making it especially appealing.
In truly like-new condition with no signs of use—an exceptionally clean appearance.
Fully overhauled in May 2025. The aperture and focusing helicoid now operate with outstanding smoothness. In test shooting with our Leica M10-P demo unit, rangefinder coupling was spot on.
Under strong LED light, one can barely detect extremely minor coating wear, and there are a few faint hairline cleaning marks on both the front and rear elements. However, none of these imperfections have any noticeable impact on image quality.
Includes original front and rear lens caps.
