Leica M6 Titanium. Leica product code: 10412. Serial number in the 2,010,000 range, manufactured in 1994.
The M6 Titanium was announced at Photokina in 1992 and released the same year. Despite its name, it is not made of titanium; instead, the top cover and baseplate are brass with a titanium-colored plating. The body covering features an ostrich-style texture, adding a luxurious touch. In contrast, the standard M6 uses a zinc alloy for its top and bottom plates.
This is a very clean example with minimal signs of use—an excellent candidate for collectors.
There is an extremely faint scuff on the top surface of the shutter speed dial—barely the size of a pinhead—but otherwise, the camera shows virtually no signs of use, including around the strap lugs and baseplate. For an M6 Titanium, which is known for its easily worn finish, this is an exceptionally rare condition.
All functions operate smoothly, and the light meter is working accurately.
The viewfinder window shows a very slight haze that is only visible when illuminated with a strong LED light, but it does not affect visibility at all. (Optional servicing is available upon request.)
Includes the body cap, German-language manual, strap, display case, and original box.
