This lens features an 8-element, 10-group design, with 2 aspherical elements and a floating structure. The minimum focusing distance is 0.7 meters. It is compatible with Series 8 filters, which fit between the threaded hood and the lens.

Despite being an ultra-wide-angle lens, it can still make subjects stand out when used at wider apertures. With proper technique, it offers a unique rendering that cannot be achieved with other lenses.

When stopped down, the combination of ultra-wide angle and deep depth of field allows for sharp, clear images with excellent depth of field (at f5.6, the depth of field extends from 1.2 meters to infinity).

This lens is an excellent choice for use with Leica M11 or Leica SL series cameras, particularly those with fast shutters. It’s definitely a lens to try if you’re looking to experiment with wide-angle, high-performance photography.

In like-new condition. The appearance is extremely clean, showing no signs of use. There are no scratches or wear on the corners or other parts. The glass is in excellent condition, with no cleaning marks or haze, complementing its beautiful appearance.

All functions are working properly, and the rangefinder coupling is accurate. The test shots also produced great results.

When the hood is removed, the front element slightly protrudes beyond the lens barrel, so extra care is needed when handling. As noted in the original Japanese warning, the hood must always be attached.
