By incorporating an apochromatic design and a single aspherical element, this lens achieves excellent correction of optical aberrations with a minimal number of lens elements. The rear group employs a floating element system for optimal performance at all distances. The sharpness and clarity delivered even at maximum aperture leave a striking impression.

The 75mm focal length is a natural extension of the 50mm standard lens, offering a slightly longer reach while retaining a familiar perspective. It provides a usable frame size in the viewfinder, making it a very practical telephoto option for rangefinder photography.

In excellent condition with no signs of use—essentially like new.

The aperture and helicoid operate with exceptional smoothness. The optics are very clean, with only a barely noticeable balsam separation at the edge of the front element group, and a few minor dust particles inside. Neither of these affects image quality. There are no visible cleaning marks or haze, and the glass is clear and bright.

Rangefinder coupling was confirmed to be accurate across the full focusing range on our test bodies (M10-P and M11), though a slight front-focus tendency was observed on the M240. It is also highly recommended for use with live view. This lens offers outstanding resolution and beautiful bokeh, making it a great choice for Leica SL series and other digital mirrorless systems. Test images were excellent.
