A Leica adapter for mounting Leica R-mount lenses on Leica M-mount cameras. The product code is 22228. The mount lock is made of red plastic.

As it does not provide rangefinder coupling, focusing must be done using live view. Please also note that ROM lenses have a stepped section around the mount and cannot be attached. This adapter is designed for lenses up to the 3-cam type.

Many manufacturers now offer mount adapters, but this is the choice for those who prefer genuine Leica accessories.
