Lens hood for the Elmar 50mm. Leitz code FISON / 12510. A36 size (36mm slip-on).

Even under the same code name FISON, there are various versions depending on the period, making it an accessory that is enjoyable to study from a historical perspective. This chrome FISON is probably the most common type among them.

It fits all generations of A36-size Elmar lenses.

There are extremely minor rub marks on the stopper screw, but the hood itself shows no signs of use and is in exceptionally clean condition. The matte black paint on the inside of the hood is also beautifully preserved.
Test-fitted and confirmed on a Red Elmar.
It is almost too clean to use 😅 — perfect for a collection as well.
The original box is included.
