Lens hood for the Summilux 50mm f1.4 chrome. Compatible with both the 1st and 2nd versions, though it likely dates from the era of the 2nd version. Leitz product code 12521G. Essentially equivalent to the earlier XOOIM hood.

Finished with a combination of crinkle paint and satin chrome plating, showcasing the elaborate craftsmanship characteristic of Leitz’s golden era. A beautifully elegant hood that perfectly complements the refined style of the “Lady.” Double hook design. Can be mounted in reverse on the lens for compact storage.

Shows almost no signs of use and is in very clean condition. It would pair beautifully with a well-kept Summilux 50mm. Compatibility has been tested on a Summilux 50mm.

The original hood cap is included. When attaching or removing the hood cap, please press the button at the base of the hood to prevent damage from the hood claws.
