Leitz vertical rangefinder FOKOS in chrome finish. This is a later model produced after 1949, and appears to be the final version with the Leitz hexagonal logo engraved facing upward. The product code is FOKOS, later changed to 14011. Distance scale is in feet.

Unlike the horizontal rangefinder HFOOK which includes an accessory shoe, this vertical version follows the design of earlier rangefinders like the FODIS. It features a clean design and a beautifully precise finish. The total length is just under 8 cm. A perfect match for Leica Ic, If, and similar models.

There is a small, faint scratch on the dial, but aside from that, hardly any signs of use can be seen. The exterior remains clean and attractive. Fully overhauled in July 2025, with the dial operating very smoothly. Minor age-related wear is visible on the glass and internal mirror, but it does not affect visibility. The view remains clear, the rangefinder image is crisp, and its accuracy is excellent.
