Dedicated lens hood for the W-Nikkor 35mm f1.8 in Leica screw mount. Made of plastic.

It has a different filter thread from the hood for the Nikkor 35mm f1.8 in Nikon S mount, so they are not compatible.

The 35mm f1.8 lens for L mount itself is already quite rare and hard to find, but this plastic hood is even rarer and seldom seen on the market.

It features a square-shaped plastic design, and the interior is lined with black velour for a refined finish. A rare and unusual item.

There are some minor scuffs and scratches, but no cracks, and the item remains in good condition.
The velvet lining on the back is also well-preserved.
Comes with a rare original box, stamped in purple with Slip-on LENS HOOD 3.5cm /1.8 for Leica.
A true collector’s item.
