Genuine lens hood for the W-Nikkor 35mm f2.5 in Leica screw mount. The shape differs from the version for Nikon S mount. Made of plastic.
While the hood for the S-mount 35mm f2.5 is relatively easy to find, the L-mount version is extremely scarce and highly difficult to obtain. It can also be fitted to the Nikkor 35mm f3.5, which shares the same filter diameter.
As a bonus tip, it can even be mounted on the Angenieux 35mm f3.5 Type X1, where it fits perfectly as if it were a genuine hood.
A rare item.

Minor signs of use can be seen on the front edge of the hood, and the plastic parts show slight dulling, but overall it remains in excellent condition for this hood. It has been confirmed to mount properly on the lens.
