This lens hood was released under the Actina brand by Schmidt Shokai, the former official Leica distributor in Japan, specifically for the Summitar 50mm f/2 lens.
It is a slip-on type with a locking screw. Although not an official Leitz product, it is solidly built and has the refined presence of a genuine accessory. When mounted, it gives the lens a distinguished look.

The weight is approximately 38g (measured). The hood consists of two parts—the hood section and the base—between which a Series VI filter can be inserted.
Please note that its diameter is slightly smaller than E39, so it cannot be mounted on lenses like the Summicron.

There is some minor paint loss on the inner black surface of the hood, but otherwise, it is free of noticeable scuffs or scratches and remains in excellent cosmetic condition.
Tested and confirmed to fit the Summitar 50mm lens.
