Planar C 100mm f3.5, made by Carl Zeiss in Germany. This version has no T coating and was manufactured in 1970. Commonly referred to as the "early silver nose" model, it features a chrome-finished front and the rest in black chrome, giving it a bold and refined appearance.
With a focal length slightly longer than the standard 80mm, it is known for its ease of use. This lens is relatively uncommon.
There are some scuffs and areas where the black chrome has worn off on the helicoid and aperture rings due to use. It’s in just the right condition to use without hesitation.
Overhauled in June 2025. The aperture and helicoid now operate smoothly. The slow shutter, which was previously sluggish, is also functioning well after servicing.
The rear element shows some light wipe marks and a tiny pin-sized scratch, but these should have no impact on image quality.
Comes with original front and rear caps.
