Wide-Angle Rolleiflex, also known as the Wide-Rollei.
A dedicated wide-angle TLR camera equipped with the highly acclaimed Distagon 55mm f/4 lens, known for its sharp rendering and enduring popularity. While production of the Wide Rolleiflex began in 1961, this particular unit is believed to have been manufactured around 1967. It uses the exclusive Bayonet IV mount for both filters and lens hoods.
This model is the version without a built-in exposure meter.
The focusing knob features distance markings in meters—an enthusiast’s favorite.
The focusing screen is the original all-matte type from Rollei, and a genuine glass screen is included to help maintain focus plane accuracy.
Overall, it shows minimal signs of use and remains in clean condition for a Wide Rolleiflex.
There are some light scuffs around the focusing knob and the film advance crank, but no noticeable dings or dents.
Fully overhauled in May 2025. Thanks to thorough servicing, the film advance crank, focusing knob, shutter, and aperture dials all operate smoothly with a satisfying feel.
The taking lens, a Distagon 55mm, is exceptionally clean—free from haze or cleaning marks, with crystal-clear glass. It's rare to find a Wide Rolleiflex in practical condition with glass this pristine.
Whether or not it finds use, the view through the sports finder is also impressively clear.
Comes with a black leather strap and a clean, original dedicated lens cap for the Wide Rolleiflex.
