This is an adapter that allows screw-in E39 filters to be used on A36-type lenses such as the Elmar 50mm f/3.5 or the Wollensak Velostigmat 50mm f/3.5.

As is often the case, the Leitz New York version differs in shape and materials from the original German-made ones—making the unique finish of the NY Leitz version a point of interest in itself.

Shows minimal signs of use and remains in very good cosmetic condition.
Tested and confirmed to fit with our Elmar lens and a genuine Leica E39 filter.
