This is a Japanese-made copy of the XOONS hood, designed for the Summarit/Xenon 50mm lens, produced by the WALTZ company. It fits 44mm screw-on threads. There is also a similar version for 42mm (E39) threads, suitable for lenses like the Summicron.

When compared to the original XOONS, the texture of the finish and the size of the parts are very well replicated. While the original XOONS is made of solid brass, this version is made of lightweight aluminum.

Weighing just 34g, it is nearly half the weight of the original XOONS, which weighs around 62g. This makes it a great choice for those who prefer not to add too much weight to their Summarit lens.

The hood shows minimal signs of use and is in excellent condition. It has been confirmed to fit the Summarit lens.
