Genuine lens hood for the Nikon S series W-Nikkor 35mm f2.5 lens, designed for the later barrel-aperture version.
This one is the letter-only type without the Mount Fuji logo, featuring larger and bolder engraving. It represents one of the earlier versions of this hood for the later type lens. Made of aluminum with a black paint finish.
Its shape is similar to the hood for the W-Nikkor 35mm f1.8 (Nikon S mount), but this one is about 2mm longer.
A rare item.

When examined closely under magnification, a few very tiny marks can be seen on the sharp edges, but overall there is no paint loss and the condition is excellent.
The interior paint also shows only two or three minor scuffs and remains beautifully preserved.
Tested on our Nikkor 35mm f2.5 for Nikon S mount and confirmed to fit properly.
