Leitz ROSOL sports finder, late version in chrome. Introduced in 1951. Later product code: 12040.

It supports three focal lengths: 50mm, 90mm, and 135mm. The parallax compensation scale is marked in meters.

Its practicality may be somewhat limited by modern standards, but mounted on a Leica, it makes for an exceptionally attractive accessory.

There are quite a few light rub marks, but no dents or significant impact marks.

Using a Barnack Leica for sports photography would certainly be a challenge, but that may well be part of the fun.

The crisp, precise operation gives a strong impression of its high manufacturing quality and makes this a very typical Leitz accessory of the period.
