VIDOM — a viewfinder with built-in parallax correction. This is the version with the short shoe mount and displays a reversed (left-right) image. It supports lenses of 35mm, 50mm, 73mm, 90mm, 105mm, and 135mm focal lengths. The parallax correction scale is marked in feet.

This particular unit features a small Germany engraving on the side of the shoe—a rather uncommon placement.

An ideal accessory to pair with a nickel-finished Leica DII or DIII, along with lenses such as the Hektor 73mm, Thambar 90mm, Mountain Elmar 105mm, or even the Elmar 35mm—perfect for those moments of pure Leica enjoyment.

The paint shows wear in various areas, giving the piece a richly aged appearance with a distinct character. While there are minor scuff marks on the nickel-plated parts, they still shine beautifully.

It was overhauled in May 2025. The optics show slight signs of aging, but the view through the finder remains crisp and clear.
