This is a lens hood from the Actina brand, produced by Schmidt Shokai, the former official Leica distributor in Japan, for use with Leica lenses.
It is compatible with 50mm lenses that accept ITDOO or IROOA hoods, such as the E39-mount Summicron or Elmar 50mm f/2.8.
The hood can also be mounted in reverse for compact storage.
Slightly heavier than Leica’s genuine hoods, but built with excellent durability and solidity.
An ideal choice for those looking for something a little different.

Originally sold by our store, this hood was well cared for by the previous owner and has now made its way back to us.
There are minor scuff marks on the front edge of the hood, but no dents or noticeable deformation.
The inner black coating and the velvet lining at the base are both well preserved, and the locking hook remains secure.
