Leica CL, a compact Leica born from the collaboration between Leitz and Minolta. Serial number in the 1,330,000 range, manufactured in 1973/74.
Unlike the M-series, it features unique mechanisms such as a vertically-traveling shutter and a 40mm frame line in the viewfinder. It also includes 50mm and 90mm frame lines, offering essential functionality in a compact body.
A true classic whose charm becomes more apparent the more you use it.
A very clean unit with only minimal signs of use. It has a fresh, well-kept appearance and is a pleasure to handle.
In March 2025, the camera was professionally serviced, including viewfinder adjustment and a full inspection. All functions are working properly.
The light meter gives accurate readings using a 1.5V battery, and the viewfinder is bright and clear.
Amazingly, even after more than 50 years since its manufacture, it still comes with its original leather case, which remains wonderfully supple.
