Fully overhauled in December 2024, this lens has been meticulously serviced. The helicoid and aperture ring operate with remarkable smoothness, ensuring a stress-free experience. Rangefinder coupling is precise, and focus accuracy is excellent. The internal anti-reflective matte lacquer has been carefully reapplied, promising enhanced image sharpness and contrast.
The front and rear elements exhibit slight aging-related glass discoloration and a few extremely faint cleaning marks, but these have no noticeable impact on performance. There are no prominent cleaning marks or haze, and the glass remains remarkably clear—a rarity among nickel Elmars. Test shots confirm excellent image quality.
This lens comes with its original bakelite front cap, a painted brass rear cap, and a bakelite lens case, all in beautiful condition. A perfect piece for both use and collection.
