Hasselblad 500C, a 6x6 medium format camera made in Sweden. This legendary model earned its place as a top-tier professional medium format system thanks to the superb lineup of interchangeable lenses by Carl Zeiss, excellent handling, robust construction, and a wide array of accessories. It remains beloved by enthusiasts to this day.
The body was manufactured in 1970, and the film magazine in 1973. The included lens is a non-T coated Planar 80mm f2.8, made in 1968. The focusing screen is a full matte type.
The waist-level finder is the later style introduced with the 500C/M, but since the body is a 500C, the focusing screen is not interchangeable.
This set comes with a rich selection of accessories, and the body, lens, and magazine have all been carefully maintained. A perfect set for those looking to start enjoying the world of Hasselblad.
There are some noticeable signs of use around the tripod mount, but overall, the camera maintains a clean and well-kept appearance. It should be a pleasure to use.
The body, lens, and film back were all overhauled in June 2025. Each component has been thoroughly serviced with care and expense to ensure excellent condition. All operations are smooth, and the winding action is crisp, accompanied by the signature Hasselblad shutter sound.
The rear element of the Planar lens shows slight coating damage, likely due to fungus residue, but it is minimal and should have no impact on image quality.
Included are a genuine metal hood, front and rear lens caps, a third-party strap, three close-up Proxar lenses, and four filters (three of which are genuine).
