Among Leitz products, this lens is one of the thinnest after the Hektor 28mm, making it highly portable and convenient. At maximum aperture, the center is sharp, but the unique falloff at the edges creates a distinctive atmosphere. While it features a classic design, it reveals profound expressive potential with extended use, and in recent years, its value has been increasingly recognized.
Compatible hoods include the FLQOO or FOOKH, though our original FB-07 hood with aperture operation functionality can also be used without vignetting.
The barrel shows minor scuffs from use, but no significant scratches or dings are present, maintaining an overall clean appearance.
Fully overhauled in November 2024, with meticulous servicing ensuring smooth, stress-free operation of the aperture ring and helicoid. The internal anti-reflective matte lacquer has also been refreshed, promising even crisper image rendering.
The glass is free from cleaning marks or haze, offering exceptionally clear optics. Actual shooting tests yielded excellent results.
Comes with original front and rear caps.
