The current MP model was introduced in 2002, and this particular unit, with a serial number in the 2,940,000 range, was manufactured in 2003.
It features a built-in light meter and a viewfinder magnification of 0.72x. This model faithfully carries on the tradition of Leica's M series cameras.
This camera was carefully stored by one of our customers and is in excellent condition.
There are only two or three extremely faint scratches near the top of the left strap lug, which can only be seen under a loupe.
Other than that, it is in near-new condition.
Due to its minimal use, the rewind knob still feels a bit stiff when retracting, but it should become smoother with use.
All other functions, including the shutter and light meter, are working perfectly.
No maintenance is currently required, though we can provide an overhaul for an additional fee if requested.
With current serial numbers well over 5 million, this early batch MP is becoming somewhat rare.
Included are the matching warranty card, German/English instruction manual, and the original box set. *lens is not included.
