※About rarity

Hexanon 50mm f/1.9 Late Version, Leica Screw Mount. This lens features a 5-element, 6-group design and is rangefinder-coupled, with distance markings in feet. It was supplied for domestic Leica copies such as Leotax and Owner.

The earlier version of the Hexanon had a unique filter thread size of 39.5mm, while the late version has a more common 40.5mm screw thread. The design of the lens barrel has also been slightly modified. Externally, it closely resembles the Summarit, but it delivers stable performance even at full aperture. Both the finish and image quality of this lens are exceptional, making it a great choice for photographers.

This Hexanon 50mm f/1.9 (late version) is in excellent condition with minimal signs of use, showcasing a very clean exterior. The operational feel across all components is smooth, and the rangefinder coupling works perfectly.

The glass is in superb condition, free from fog or noticeable cleaning marks, delivering exceptionally clear images. All lens coatings are intact and in good condition. Real-world test results have been outstanding, and I thoroughly enjoyed shooting with it on our demo Leica M11.

This lens comes with a Nicca-branded front cap and a clean lens hood, making it an excellent choice for anyone seeking a quality Hexanon lens.
