Leica FIKUS variable hood for 50/90/135mm lenses. A36 type, slip-on for 36mm front diameter lenses. When the outer hood is fully retracted, it can also be used with the Elmar 35mm f3.5.
As with other Leitz hoods, the FIKUS comes in quite a few variations, including different engravings and plating types. This example is engraved Elmar and finished in black and chrome. The chrome plating on this example has a glossy appearance; later versions would have a satin chrome finish.
A practical accessory that covers four focal lengths and also helps save space in your camera bag.

A like-new example with hardly any signs of wear, paint deterioration, or use. It comes with a period-correct original box.
