The Contax T2, a high-end compact camera that took the world by storm, was released in November 1990. The camera features a Zeiss T* coated Sonnar 38mm f2.8 lens with a 4-group, 5-element design and 7 aperture blades.
It offers both manual and autofocus shooting capabilities, with a minimum focusing distance of 0.7 meters. The camera uses a CR123A battery.
With its outstanding image quality, convenient focal length, and excellent usability, the Contax T2 has seen a resurgence in popularity recently, making it increasingly difficult to find a clean example. Perfect for summer vacations, city strolls, or travel companions!
The camera shows only minor signs of wear on the clip and back cover, but overall, the body is in excellent condition with no scratches, including the bottom. The lens is clean, and the viewfinder is clear with no fogging. Although actual shooting tests have not been performed, a full functional check has been conducted with the battery installed, and the camera operates smoothly and is in perfect working order.
This is a full set that includes the original warranty card, genuine carry case, user manuals in English, German, French, and Italian, and the original box. Additionally, it comes with a clipping from a German camera magazine from the time of release. The box bears a Deutsche Mark (DM) price tag, indicating that this unit was sold in Germany at the time. A true homecoming T2 Black.
