Sonnar 50mm f2 made by Carl Zeiss West Germany.
Post-war product. Supplied for Contax IIa and IIIa. Coated. A classic lens that can be mounted on various Contax models, including pre-war models.
By using an adapter, it can be enjoyed on various cameras, including Leica M models and mirrorless digital cameras.

There are very minor signs of use, but no dents or noticeable scratches, and the exterior is clean.
Aperture operation is fine, and the aperture blades are clean with no oil.
There is very slight haze along the edge of the middle element, but it is unlikely to affect actual shooting. The center of the lens is clear and clean. Test shooting results were also excellent.
Rangefinder coupling and focus have been confirmed with a Leica M-10P using a Contax-Leica adapter. A beautiful piece.
