The minimum focusing distance is 0.7m. The product code by Leitz is SAWOM. This item has an L/M mount. By removing the set screw and taking off the coupler, it can also be used as a Leica screw mount.
The coating color is a combination of purple and amber, which enhances the black paint body. The mount part (coupler) is chrome-plated, and the infinity lock is also chrome. The weight is 157g.
It has been moderately used but retains a sleek and sharp appearance. A great companion for Leica M3, M2, and M4 black paint models! A rare item.
The edges of the filter frame, helicoid operation knob, and aperture ring show natural black paint wear, but overall, it is in a relatively clean condition for an 8-element black version. There are no dents or dings.
It underwent a full overhaul when it was last sold in 2017, and it has been fully overhauled again in August 2024 for this resale. Thanks to meticulous maintenance, the aperture ring and focusing ring operate with an exquisite feel. The infinity lock also moves smoothly and settles naturally. The rangefinder coupling is perfect, and the coating remains intact throughout. The test shooting results were excellent.
It comes with original front and rear caps. The front cap is black chrome. This item was sold in-store while being prepared for sale. Thank you.
