This is the current version of Leica's iconic large-aperture high-speed standard lens, the Summilux 50mm f/1.4. Silver finish.
Consisting of 5 groups with 8 elements in 5 groups, including 1 aspherical surface. While the coupled rangefinder minimum focusing distance is 70cm, the design allows for close-up shooting down to 45cm, albeit without rangefinder coupling, leveraging the live view function of digital Leica M cameras.
Its compact design with built-in hood pairs excellently with Leica M bodies. The aperture blades have been increased from 9 to 11, enhancing the ability to render more beautiful circular bokeh.
There are slight signs of use such as minor dents and scratches on the front end of the hood, as well as minor rubbing on the distance ring and base, but overall it is a clean piece.
All functions are working properly in each part. The rangefinder coupling is also working perfectly.
There are no wiping marks or haze, and the glass condition is superb with clear and flawless optics. Test results were also good.
Comes with front and rear caps, inspection certificate, soft case, and original box.
