Alpa 11si. The final and most popular model from Alpa, known for its ease of use and high reliability. It was manufactured between 1976 and 1989. Among these, only 768 units are said to have been produced with black finish.
This particular unit is a European-market version without the crest on the front of the pentaprism, giving it a clean and cool appearance. The top cover is finished in black chrome, while the bottom cover is black paint. The body number matches the serial number on the baseplate.
The 11si is an upgraded version of its predecessor, the 11el, replacing the CdS light sensor with a faster and wider-range SPD sensor. It also features improved exposure indication with three-color LEDs.
There are a few minor scratches on the top and corners of the pentaprism, but overall the camera shows little signs of use and is in good cosmetic condition. On the back panel, there are about four marks, each approximately 1.5 cm in diameter, that appear to be remnants of something previously attached and removed, but they are not particularly noticeable.
The shutter and light meter were serviced in July 2025, and the camera now operates smoothly. The light meter responds somewhat like a spot meter and tends to be on the sensitive side.
Comes with the original body cap.
