※About rarity
Leica M3, early model. It's the Buddha ear, double-stroke variant, serial number 800,000, manufactured in 1955. This is one of the early models equipped with the frame selector lever. It retains the ambiance of the early M3 era. The double-stroke advance of the M3 gives a rhythmic sound, and simply winding the film advance lever elevates your mood. While it shows some signs of use, the overall atmosphere is excellent, and it operates smoothly. Highly recommended. All parts, including the shutter curtain, are original from that time, including the original Gutta-percha. There are very small, barely noticeable marks near the counter on the top cover and near the eyepiece on the top surface. Additionally, there are minor scratches near the Leica logo on the top cover. On the bottom plate, there is a single scratch and some slight rubbing. However, considering it's an early model of the M3, it maintains an overall good appearance. The operation of various parts, including the film advance lever, is very smooth and comfortable. The viewfinder is clear and crisp. It's a double-stroke model that you can enjoy using with a good mood.
