FISON lens hood for the Elmar 50mm. A36 size. The Leitz product code is FISON / 12510.

First introduced for the early Leica Model A, the FISON underwent many changes over the years while retaining the same name, making it an interesting accessory for studying the history of Leica equipment.

This chrome FISON is probably the most commonly seen version. It is made of brass with a matte bead-blasted chrome finish.

There are some minor scuffs and slight shine from use, but no dents or dings. A good practical FISON for everyday use.

Tested for proper fit on a lens.
