Leitz L/M adapter. The Leitz product code is ISBOO, later 14098. An adapter for Leica 90mm and 28mm lenses.

This example has lowercase engravings, the Leitz name, a serial number on the mount surface, and no cutout. When mounted on a Leica M body, it brings up the 90mm and 28mm finder frames.

It is remarkable that early Leica lenses can still be used on the latest digital M cameras despite a time gap of nearly 100 years. There is something quite romantic about that.

While this no-cutout type can interfere with the infinity lock on lenses such as the red-scale Summaron 28mm, on digital Leica M cameras such as the Leica M10 it can prevent Live View from stopping due to incorrect lens detection.

Shows only light signs of use and is a very clean adapter overall. Focus checked with our demo camera.
