※About rarity
The Plaubel Makina 67 is a medium format camera that uses 120 film and captures 10 images per roll. It is equipped with a lightweight and compact design and features a Nikkor 80mm f/2.8 lens with a 4-group 6-element configuration. Plaubel was originally a prestigious German manufacturer, but the brand name was dormant until it was acquired by the Japanese company Doi in 1979, leading to its revival. The camera's design was crafted by Konica, while the lens choice of Nikkor was at the request of the company president. With its refined design, user-friendliness, and the excellent rendering of the Nikkor lens, it continues to enjoy high popularity. The exposure meter requires two LR44 batteries. The filter diameter is 58mm. A genuine grip is included, which shows signs of wear compared to the body. The body shows minor wear on various parts, and there is some chipping on the advance lever's black paint. Additionally, there is a small crack in the upper right corner of the objective-side viewfinder glass. However, there are no other scratches or dents, and there are no signs of the body cracks often seen in the Makina 67. All functions operate smoothly, and the exposure meter works fine. Like other Makina cameras, there is slight haze in the viewfinder, but the contrast of the double image is good and does not pose any practical issues. There is some dust visible on the lens's middle element, but it should not affect actual photography (additional servicing is available for a fee). A grip is included, making it suitable for those who enjoy shooting extensively.
