Even in the digital age, it continues to be a reliable performer, embodying Leica's standard lens par excellence. There are very minor abrasions typical of regular use on the retractable barrel and base, but overall, it maintains a clean and tidy appearance with no distortion on the nameplate. This unit has undergone a full service, ensuring smooth operation of all components. The rangefinder coupling works perfectly. The inner surface of the barrel has been meticulously coated with matte lacquer to prevent internal reflections, resulting in crisp images.
