Angénieux 50mm f0.95 Type M1. Manufactured around 1981, it's a cine lens with 8 elements in 6 groups. On a full-frame camera, you may experience some vignetting at the edges. This lens offers the characteristic dense and rich rendering that Angénieux lenses are known for, thanks to its large aperture and high speed. It has been modified for M-mount with perfect rangefinder coupling. Our staff were amazed by the precision of the rangefinder coupling during test shoots. Focusing is sharp and accurate even wide open. It's an absolute joy to use! Among all the lenses we've handled in the past, this one stands out as one of the best. Please note that this lens has already been sold at our physical store before it could be made available for sale online. Both the lens head and barrel show minimal signs of use, presenting a clean appearance. While there are very few wipe marks on the middle element of the lens, there is no haze, and the glass is in excellent condition. The aperture and helicoid operate smoothly, and the rangefinder coupling is in excellent condition. We've tested it on our Leica M10-P, and it perfectly tracks from the closest focusing distance to infinity when shooting wide open at f0.95 It's astonishingly accurate, allowing for precise focusing at f0.95 with the rangefinder.
