※About rarity

Nikkor-P 105mm f2.5 for Nikon rangefinders. Released in 1954, this lens features a Sonnar-type design with a 3-group, 5-element construction. The helicoid has distance markings in feet. It’s a classic telephoto lens for Nikon S-series cameras.

Approximately 22,000 units were manufactured across all mounts (including Leica and Contax). This particular model is the later version without the lens hood locking horns.

Despite its affordable price, this lens delivers exceptional image quality. It can be used with digital Leica M bodies via adapters such as the Lakewood SC-LM adapter (Nikon S mount external flange adapter), allowing you to enjoy its performance with live view.

The lens shows almost no signs of use and is in excellent condition. All functions operate normally. The helicoid ring has a slightly heavier feel, but we can provide servicing for an additional fee if desired.

There is a slight amount of dust that can only be seen under strong LED light, but this does not affect actual photography. There are no cleaning marks or fogging, and the glass is clear and sharp. The lens has been tested with a Nikon S body and ground glass, and the rangefinder coupling has been confirmed.

The original front cap is included.
