Compared to the early "ping-pong ball" model known for its dramatic flare wide open, this version showcases significant improvements in imaging performance, attributed to the adoption of new glass and refinements in lens construction. While it exhibits gentle flare when wide open, it delivers exceptional resolution and distinctive character, capturing captivating atmospheres effortlessly. While showing signs of normal usage such as minor paint loss and scratches, its overall appearance exudes a dignified presence. There are no dents or dings present. Fully serviced in 2017, and for this resale in March 2024, another full service performed. Thanks to meticulous maintenance, all functions operate smoothly. The glass exhibits very shallow wiping marks and slight separation around the middle element. Coatings on all surfaces remain intact, providing clear and crisp imagery without any haze. The results of practical shooting tests were highly satisfactory.
