When the outer hood is fully retracted, it is compatible with Elmar 35mm f3.5 & Hektor 5cm.
Highly recommended for those who use black-painted Barnack models like the DII or DIII along with nickel lenses. This hood supports four types of lenses, saving space in your camera bag.
The engraving "Ernst Leitz Wetzlar" at the front of the hood is silver inlaid.
A rare hood.
This hood has been quite heavily used, but the wear on the black paint gives it a wonderfully unique character. The matte finish on the inside of the hood has become somewhat thin due to years of use. It has been tested for attachment to lenses.
