SBLOO, Leica’s classic external 35mm finder. Its later product code was 12010. This example is the early version featuring the Leitz logo within a hexagon. Introduced in 1951, it succeeded the WEISU finder.

It is an excellent accessory that instantly adds to the pleasure of using not only Barnack Leicas and the M3, which lack built-in 35mm frames, but also Leica cameras already equipped with them. Its bright, brilliant view is a delight.

A masterpiece among Leica finders, and particularly useful for street photography.

There is an extremely slight dent on the cylindrical section around the eyepiece, though it is not particularly noticeable from a distance. Some rubbing and shine are also visible on the bottom of the finder. Otherwise, it shows little sign of use and remains in good cosmetic condition.

The glass was professionally cleaned in June 2026. The view is clear, bright, and crisp.

Mounting has been checked on our Leica M3. Ready for practical use!
