Viewfinder for the Nikkor 85mm lens. Introduced in 1957 with a black finish. The parallax correction distance is marked in feet. Some versions of this viewfinder have a serial number engraved on the hot shoe, but this one does not. Perfect companion for the Nikkor 85mm f2 or f1.5. A somewhat rare viewfinder.
There's hardly any signs of use, and it has a very clean appearance. The black-painted areas still retain their matte texture. There is a slight inconsistency in the movement of the parallax correction ring. The glass is also clean, providing a clear view typical of a standalone viewfinder.
