Variable-magnification universal finder made by Nippon Kogaku. It covers five focal lengths: 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 105mm, and 135mm. The unmarked scale positions represent 1x and 0.5x magnifications. Parallax correction is adjusted by rotating the outer ring around the eyepiece—a design change from earlier models that used a lever on the base.
The often-missing 28mm attachment is mounted on the front (objective side) of the finder and is used with the finder set to the 35mm position.
There is a small dent on the edge of the barrel near the eyepiece side of the finder, but both the finder and the attachment show very little overall wear.
Fully overhauled in August 2025. All mechanical operations are smooth, and the viewing clarity has been greatly improved. There are a few tiny spots of coating deterioration on the internal glass elements of the finder, but they do not affect the view. The glass of the included 28mm attachment is also clear and bright.
