In July 2024, a professional service performed cleaning of the viewfinder and rangefinder. The glass inside the viewfinder shows signs of aging and corrosion. While it may not provide the original viewfinder experience, it remains clear, and the contrast of the rangefinder image is well maintained. All operations are normal, and the distance dial moves smoothly.
The included Nikkor lens has a circular, shallow scratch on the rear element, some edge wear, minor coating deterioration around the middle element, and slight oil on the aperture blades.
Along with the body, a well-used 50mm f1.4 lens hood and original front cap are included. While the condition is used, this S4 is perfect for those who want a reliable camera for frequent use.
