The Leitz 12585 lens hood, an original hood from the era of the second-generation Summicron 50mm and 35mm lenses.
It is the successor to the ITDOO and IROOA hoods.

A true classic, this hood fits most E39-diameter lenses, including the Summicron 35mm f/2, 50mm f/2, as well as the Summaron and Elmar lenses.

This particular piece is an early version without the 35/2 engraving.

There are numerous small scuffs and paint loss, especially around the edges and the front rim of the hood.
Confirmed to fit E39-mount lenses without issue. A great user piece—perfect for regular, worry-free use.
