Close-up attachment for Contax IIa and IIIa, known as the Contameter. Zeiss product code is 438.
It has a filter thread size of 40.5mm and can be mounted on lenses such as the Sonnar 50mm, enabling close-up photography at 20cm, 30cm, and 50cm distances.
When using the 20cm filter, set the camera’s rangefinder dial to 20, focus accordingly, and release the shutter.
This is an exceptionally clean set. The finely crafted leather case exudes the refined quality expected from Zeiss.

It is in like-new condition with no signs of use. The viewfinder glass was cleaned and the dial mechanism disassembled and adjusted in July 2025. All functions operate smoothly.
Comes with an English manual and a case.
