※About rarity

The Lisagon SII 85mm f1.5 is a medium telephoto lens from Enna, a mid-sized lens manufacturer based in Munich, Germany, known for producing photographic lenses since the 1920s. It features a 5-group, 6-element optical design. This particular unit has an Exakta mount. The same lens was also produced under the names Ennaston and Ennalyt, and was available in other mounts such as M42 and LTM (Leica Thread Mount).

There are several cosmetic variations, including versions with a distinctive zebra-striped barrel. Despite its fast f1.5 aperture at the 85mm focal length, the lens is known for having a rather distinctive and quirky rendering.

It weighs 554 grams, with a high-quality aluminum barrel that gives it a solid, satisfying feel in hand.

There are a few small scuffs on the barrel. The helicoid shows vertical scratches and wear on the edges, but there are no signs of aluminum corrosion, and overall it maintains a rather clean appearance.
It was fully overhauled in 2024. Thanks to careful servicing, both the aperture and helicoid offer a very smooth operating feel.
The inner elements show slight whiteish haze due to coating deterioration, but this should have little to no impact on image quality. No noticeable cleaning marks are present.
Sample images have been posted in our gallery. You can see a gentle flare blooming at the peak of sharpness, with a unique, melting bokeh. We hope you'll take a look.
