※About rarity

Nikon F2 Titanium Body. This titanium version of the Nikon F2 Eye-Level, originally supplied to news agencies, was made available for limited sale due to strong demand from users. The left side of the body features an engraving that reads 'Titan'. This model is commonly referred to as 'Name' model.

It features a unique crinkle finish that gives it a distinctive appearance. The top and bottom covers of the exterior, as well as the pentaprism cover, are made of titanium. Additionally, the serial number is marked with F2T 79xxxx.

It is in almost new condition. There are very slight scuffs on the mount surface, likely from lens mounting tests, but it probably has not been used for actual photography. No other signs of use are visible.

In 2024, a professional service performed a disassembly and cleaning of the viewfinder and replaced the light seals. All parts are functioning normally.

It comes with the original box, warranty card, Nikkor Club membership documents, F2 Titanium caution note, body cap, and silica gel desiccant. According to the warranty card, this unit was purchased at the Nihonbashi Takashimaya camera department in 1979.

Part of the foam packaging material is cracked and has been secured with masking tape.

This unit is imbued with the atmosphere of a brand-new product from its time. It comes with all accessories, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
